The Program that Teaches Social Skills and Activates Social Cognition

Courses are based on the content of the award winning Building Social Relationships book series. The Building Social Relationships program is a systematic research based social skills program that addresses both social cognitive processing and social skill performance. The Building Social Relationships on-line training courses will provide students with a conceptualized framework that will improve their understanding of social functioning in youth on the autism spectrum and improve the way they teach social skills and social cognitive processing.

Scott Bellini

Dr. Scott Bellini is a Licensed Psychologist and Endorsed Health Services Provider in Psychology (HSPP). Dr. Bellini is currently a faculty member with the Indiana University School Psychology Program and is the Director of the Social Skills Research Clinic, a university based clinic that specializes in developing and empirically validating social skills programming for youth on the autism spectrum. He is a prominent and highly impactful researcher in autism and school psychology, as was identified as one of the Top 25 most cited school psychology faculty in the United States by Grapin, Kranzler, and Daley. Dr. Bellini is also the author of the award winning book, Building Social Relationships, which has been honored as the Literary Work of the Year by the Autism Society of America and the winner of the National Indie Excellence Award in Education. Dr. Bellini has provided professional development to educators and family members in 45 states and in multiple countries. In addition, Dr. Bellini has extensive experience developing and teaching on-line college courses at both the undergraduate and graduate level.
